RECOVERING FROM A DISASTER

Weddings can be very interesting and at the same time hectic but imagine your most favourite lens drops.   It can send you down the drain and make it seem the end of the world.  That's exactly what happened to me.  It was a test of how strong your friends back you in bad times and also it is true that when THE GOING GETS TOUGH, THE TOUGH GETS GOING.

My 85mm my preferred lens had dropped and cracked and there was no time at all to be brooding.  So as we drove to the grooms house, new strategies took over and can gladly say that we overcame the disaster with an alternate plan devised.  It is important to be backed by good friends and at this point my wife, daughter and my mentor Neil Rodrigues all diverted my mind from what happened earlier that day.  And guess what when I review my footage, it appears that I just overcame my handicap by getting some amazing footage during the day.

In tougher times its better to concentrate on the road ahead.
